Swimming - The Fastest Way

 

To Burn Calories

 

 

What kind of exercise that can rapidly burn calories ? Aerobic or cardio exercises are the most common answers. Weight lifting or muscle exercise can even burn fat and tone muscle at the same time. But if you want to burn calories, burn fat and tone muscle more effectively, swimming is probably your answer.

 

Why swimming ?

 

The fact is, by one hour swimming, you can burn 500-650 calories from your body. The calorie burning is equal to 89% burned calories from running, and 97% from biking.

 

By increasing the swimming exercise intensity, you will burn more calories then any other sports at the same time period.

 




Cardio and Stretching Before Swimming

 

What is your preparation before jumping to the swimming pool ? Applying your sun cream ? It’s OK, but next time, do a little stretching and cardio for warming up before swimming.



Why Cardio and Stretching ?

 

To avoid cramp in the water ? That’s one of the reasons. The other one is to reach your maximum heart rate. The fact is, human heart rate reduces up to 17 pulses per minutes when he is in the water, compared to when he is on the ground.

 

So if swimming becomes one of your sport choices, don’t forget to run a little before jumping to the pool to maximize your goal of having swimming, which is healthy heart!

Besides swimming, there are many other ways to burn calories. Join an Aerobics Exercise or Spinning Exercise classes. Or if you are looking for something new and interesting to do, try Muay Thai Exercise, a combination between martial arts and exercise !
