French Press with Dumbbell

 

French Press is one of triceps exercises method that requires some supported equipment, such as dumbbells and resistance band.

 

Prepare a pair of dumbbells, and let’s start this exercise…

 

¨       Stand in straight position, open your legs to your shoulder wide.

 

¨       Hold a dumbbell with your right hand, bend your elbow and lift it up till your palm is in your back, and your upper arm is parallel with your ear.

 

¨       Keep the position of your elbow, then slowly lift and straight your right lower arm up. Exhale when you lift your lower arm.

 

¨       After your lower and upper arms are almost in a straight line, hold a second, then bend down your lower arm again while inhaling.

 

¨       Do the same with your left arm.

French Press with Resistance Band

 

Another method in triceps exercises is French Press using Resistance Band. This is also a good and simple exercise you could do to build your tone triceps muscles.

¨       Stand in straight position, open your legs to your shoulder wide.

 

¨       Hold your resistance band using both hands, then place your right hand at your lower back with your palm out. Place your left hand above your head, palm in.

 

¨       Bend both of your elbow, then pull resistance band by your left hand up, and in the same time keep your right hand holding the other side of resistance band. Exhale when pulling resistance band up.

 

¨       Hold a second when your left arm is straight above, then go back to previous position. Inhale at this step.

 

¨       Do the same with your right arm.
